The below subtitled video is well worth two minutes of your time. It shows Prof Masanori Fukushima from Kyoto University bluntly explaining the various problems with the Covid jabs to officials from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW). The full 2-hour-long video of the whole meeting can be viewed in Japanese here.
This is Prof Fukushima’s second appearance on this blog. His first was back in May, when he was interviewed by Nikkei Business about post-vaccination deaths. At the time, he called the MHLW “negligent”. His opinion clearly hasn’t softened in the meantime.
Much of what Prof Fukushima says in the video won’t be news to readers of this blog, such as the mRNA jabs causing cardiovascular diseases or increasing susceptibility to infection. But one thing he said that was new to me was his point about Covid not spreading well in Japan at first because Japanese people have “IgA in their saliva”. I reckon he’s probably referring to this paper.
To try to explain the low burden of Covid in Japan, Tsukinoki et al. “investigated the prevalence of naturally occurring (“natural”) antibodies, focusing on those of the secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) form, reactive with SARS-CoV-2 among Japanese people.” The study involved 180 participants. So what were the results?
The major findings were that 52.78% (95% confidence interval, 45.21%–60.25%) of the individuals who had not been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 were positive for saliva IgA antibodies with a wide range of levels between 0.002 and 3.272 ng/mL.
So now you know.
If I had to fault Prof Fukushima in one way, I’d say he should ditch the mask completely rather than sticking it under his chin. After all, a randomised trial of over 1000 workers in four countries published this week found surgical masks and N95 respirators to be equally useless at preventing infections.
I probably sound picky here. But in Japan, mass-vaccination and universal masking are a set. If like Prof Fukushima you want to get rid of one, you should get rid of the other.
'in Japan, mass-vaccination and universal masking are a set'- people seeing other people masked increases anxiety, which in turn likely makes people more apt to take further measures such as getting a poorly-tested shot or four.
It is way too late!!!
That is my shish kebab with these Johnny-Come-Latelies. Certain decisions can only be made once. With the mRNA vaccines, they cannot be undone!
