Schools out (of their mind): a message from the front line of Japan’s Covid insanity
I previously wrote a post explaining how Japanese school life has come to revolve around avoiding meeting the close-contact criteria of being unmasked for 15 minutes within 1 meter of a confirmed case.
But to give you a better idea of the toll this lunacy has taken, I’ve translated a short email from a teacher at a high school (for ages 15-18) to doctor and writer Hiroyuki Morita, which Morita published in an article that can be read here. Both the names of the teacher and school were redacted.
The daily battle against Covid is exhausting the school and the students.
Last autumn, students got vaccinated, but the side-effects were terrible. However, it was before the cold and flu season, so we expected the vaccines to be effective.
But a month later, the school had an outbreak with several tens of % of the student body infected, so Covid measures were made stricter. As a result, mental health has deteriorated, and there’s even been a suicide.
As I have doubts about the national and local governments’ pronouncements about vaccine effectiveness and recommendations of third and fourth doses, I conducted a survey in April.
In the survey, 50 randomly chosen students were asked whether they had been vaccinated and whether they had been infected. (Any student who didn’t want to answer could have submitted a black sheet, but all answered.)
The results were that just under 40% of the 35 vaccinated students had been infected and just over 20% of the 15 unvaccinated students had. For vaccine side-effects, 75% reported a fever or other. Three people reported severe effects like convulsions and full-body numbness.
With these horrible results, I couldn’t look away from the students in front of me suffering from vaccine side-effects, so I mailed you, Dr Morita.
The data is too small to say its reliability is sufficient. The school has strictly stopped any further surveys, so I only wish an appropriate organisation will survey a larger number and publicise its results.
Somehow I doubt the teacher’s wish will come true. The Israeli Ministry of Health conducted one such survey, and the results weren’t pretty.
And if you’re feeling down after reading that email, you probably don’t need me to depress you further by banging on about how this is the fault of the Japanese government fraudulently inflating vaccine effectiveness while misleading young people about the risks they face from vaccines and Covid itself. And, I’d only make you more miserable by discussing the data on life years lost from excess suicides among young Japanese as a result of Japan’s socioeconomically harmful Covid measures.
Instead, I’ll try to cheer you up with an example of positive vaccine propaganda produced by Fukuoka Prefecture for its “Consideration Vaccine” campaign..
…because wouldn’t you prefer to focus on things that are heart-warming rather than just heart-inflaming?
