It’s done. There is no coming back from that. They won’t recover.

My kids are not masked because I’ve played my role as a father : my wife had no say regarding masks and the vaccine. Too many fathers are too weak, here and abroad.

A young male will follow any daddy who hold the keys to the kingdom.

If your "wife" has no say, what is she to you? A domesticated animal?

I'm sure she had something to say, you just didn't want to hear it. Straight up.

It's war, right?

I didn't know...I don't do "twitter", that's for twit faces, but thanks for the info anyway

Exactly.

My wife has many thing to say but as a woman she is more likely to be hysterical. Reason why, in those times, “males” have to take the lead, to prevail. Period.

We’ve been married for ten years. That’s the first time she hasn’t been part of the decision process. For the record : she has taken many decisions in the past without my consent. She’s my wife : she is holding the keys of the house…

Exactly. Never wore a mask, set an example for my son, it's just obvious for him that he'll never want to wear one either.

Most of the kids lied on this. The number one reason is not that they don't want to show their faces but that they are afraid of what others think. Am I wrong? I don't think so. "The nail that sticks out will get hammered down." A cultural expression masking as a lack of testicular fortitude.

Perhaps they are afraid that if they show their face, they may loose face, and they would rather remain faceless than have to face the prospect of that?

Or perhaps living as a Japanese in Japan for many people entails concealing one's true face much of the time. And perhaps hiding what you are thinking and feeling behind a mask is easier that hiding it behind a smile or a calm featureless expression, desho?

I don't know. I've lived in Japan for forty years but only as a gaijin. I never had to go through "the training". So I can't judge them. But I agree with Catherine that its very sad that these kids are averse to showing their faces.

The mask makes maintaining the poker face that much easier. Insecure kids in particular who worry about bullying likely think the mask helps prevent the drawing of unwanted attention.

Bingo!! In ASia, "saving face" is the greatest social value.

And double bingo!! I've pointed out for three years plus now that most people are wearing masks all the time. That's why they were so happy to make them show.

Sorry, but I have a pussy, no weak vulnerable sensitive "balls" hanging out of my body, and I called the lie to this from day one. I even knew it was all military before anyone else would accept that.

No testicular "fortitude" here. They are so weak, tender, and vulnerable, hide at every opportunity. Can't be depended on. In sports, they do need to be "fortified". They need "forts" built around them.

Get fucking real. One kick to your "testicular fortitude" and you're out , man.

Same for an orgasm. Some "fortitude".

What a sad state of affairs. One of the joys of visiting Japan is admiring the good looks of the Japanese people. I hate to think that by the time we visit in November this state of affairs might not have changed. The Japanese royalty visiting the UK for the Coronation were unmasked, yet we’ve recently seen pictures in the press of the Emperor and Empress out and about in Japan fully masked. If only they would take a lead on this perhaps it would encourage others.

They are beautiful Asians.

With beautiful features.

Very sad that they are now averse to show their faces.

I don't know what else to say.

My kids can no longer clearly understand the spoken word because everyone who speakers their native language has worn a mask when speaking to them these past three years, and the government says that we should not tell people to unmask!?!?! FUCK that. Take the god damned masks off!

Same thing is happening in Hong Kong. Teenagers who are by default rebellious and against tyranny, prefer to be masking all day long.

Some kids are so pissed off about it that they wear them just to shove it in the adults' faces. I have a meme pic like that. of a young girl who returned to school after one year online, knowing full well the insane mask requirements. When she had her school pic taken, she was told she could take off the mask. She refused, and you ought to see the look on this nine year old girl's face!!! If looks could kill.....she was in the know, that one. Her eyes said it all.

At this point, I can see there’s a challenge in getting these abused children to ditch the masks when they’re *not* in school, but for in school, if the authorities are serious about it, then they could simply make it a rule: no masks at school. If Japanese schools can have rules against students having brown hair, they can ban this crap.

I have an alternate view on lung physiology that dismisses the notion of oxygen and carbon dioxide gaseous exchange

The article is titled

We breathe air not oxygen

I take you though all the steps that lead to this statement

Including how oxygen is manufactured

How oxygen is calibrated

Eg medical oxygen has 67parts per million of water contamination

Why oxygen is toxic, dehydrates and damages the alveoli

Lung physiology requires the air at the alveoli to reach 100% humidity

Can you see the problem?

The new take on lung physiology:

The lungs rehydrate the passing RBCs with iso tonic saline solution as they pass through the alveoli capillary beds

RBCs change from dark contracted dehydrated to plump bright hydrated form as they soak up the iso tonic saline solution the bursting alveoli bubbles throw upon the capillary sac

The airway mucosa conditions the breathe with salt and moisture

"And the problem is that even if they manage to climb out of the hole, they’ll start digging again as soon as the government and media tell them to. And that’s most likely a case of “when”, not “if”."

Or, rather, "as soon as"?

At the high school where I teach the making rate among the students is still 100% and only three teachers don’t wear masks. Me and my fellow gaijin and one other Japanese English teacher.

Yes. We've known from the get go that it's the children they're after. They despise life.

In any case, the Japanese culture had been known for suicide for some decades now.

In Las Vegas, the district was kind enough to "partially" reopen the schools after only twenty five young ones had committed suicide.

A "Christian" nation, supposedly. When humans, most of them, are treated as animals are treated,(which is horrid), then humans fall into their herd complex. And the Japanese society has always been intensely controlled, to say the least!! It's one of those ways that "societies" prove themselves to be "better" than other societies. What part of the world isn't aware of the great glorious Samurai Warrior...ah, warrior!!...who courageously impales himself on his own sword?

Makes no sense whatever, but there it is . "Culture".

Japan is known as one of the most insanely imperialist nations. It was the Japanese who first used biological warfare in a thwarted attempt to invade China.

Then again, as far as an internal society goes, as soon as Euro Christian Colonialism makes it mark and takes over the economy, the entire population has to tighten up and become super hypocritical.

And inhuman.

Very sad to read this. On Facebook I still see friends/family in Asia still (happily) masking themselves and their kids. It just never ends.
