Thanks for sharing what's been going on in your part of the world. Unfortunately, things aren't much better here in Canada. It's a clown world.

Best wishes for a healthy, happy, mask-free 2023!

I just came from a restaurant which had a sign in the entrance which stated that they would not be requiring their staff to wear the face diapers. There were no partitions and about 70 percent of the staff were wearing the breathing barriers. My point is this: stop giving your money to places that abuse their staff and their customers. The masochistic customers probably deserve it but I have sympathy for the staff. Here is my list of dos and don'ts. Dos: go to mask-free restaurants. Don'ts: don't go to masked restaurants and don't listen to fools like Morisawa.

Is this in the Kanto area? Please share. We need to patronize these brave souls’ businesses.

Yep, those partitions are all but omnipresent in Japan. Even the cafeteria at my med school has them, albeit, with the added closed off seat on each side so that only two people are to sit at a table designed for four and sit on diagonally opposed corners.

Faucing idgits.
