There is a term for this, believe it or not: malicious compliance. Malicious compliance is when one follows the rules with out fail to the extent it disrupts the work of those demanding the rules be complied with. This is not a joke some comedian came up with, it is an actual term used by the US government. Apparently, it can earn government employees bad marks on their evaluations.
We did this on ship every time they cracked down on the common practice of addressing fellow watch standers and those we worked closely with by just their family name or nick name. The zeros....ummm...er Officers would get angry if they over heard us call out something like, “Hey, Smitty, pass me the crescent hammer, will ya?”, and demand that we address by rank. So we did the following; “Fireman Recruit Jones, lay to Machinist Mate 3rd class Smith and inform Machinist Mate 3rd Class Smith that Machinist Mate Second Class Kitsune desires that that Machinist Mate 3rd Class Smith give Fireman Recruit Jones a crescent hammer so that Fireman Recruit Jones can deliver it to Machinist Mate 2 Class Kitsune.” This would go for about a week and when we returned to addressing everyone as before; “Hey Smitty”. “Yeah, Kit?”, everyone breathed a sigh of relief until the next crack down.
If we had done this from the beginning of the panic, I doubt we would be where we are today. Scratch that. Many in Japan did and still are, though they believed it.
People here are so worried and consumed by COVID-19 yet they don't take the time to learn about it. If you were concerned enough to wear a mask outside and get 6+ jabs I would think you would care enough to research and learn that neither the mask or the jab help prevent COVID infections.
That, sadly is a nonstarter. The believe they have done the research. Everywhere they look, everyone they listen to confirms what they already believe. They are not likely to even run across anything that challenges what they believe but if they do, they’ll ignore it. They certainly won’t look for contradictory information.
Meanwhile the Uk is injecting the over 75’s like there is no tomorrow. Many of them unwell post vaxx, again, many of them getting colds that won’t go away. Oh dear, when will people connect the dots? How many times will they take a covid injection, before they realise, they do not work. Sadly, they don’t know they are dangerous to their health as well. They are witnessing, like the rest of us, the ongoing excess deaths amongst their peers, the sudden deaths, the adverse events post vaxx.
TV never mentions the connection, so most people don’t see it. The fact that large outbreaks coincide with jab campaigns just means people must mask harder.
Use their bullshit against them. For example, if you have any dealings with Dr. Ito, make sure he wears a mask, social distances, and shows proof of his 6th shot.
Excellent article! "Sustainable vaccination ends when you do!". Japan's depopulation, already losing a million persons a year, is expected to accelerate.
Does Japan provide by age breakdown of population deaths?
Now we find ourselves in a world of zombies, mention the word vaccine and their eyes glaze over, the fight or flight response is triggered. They bolt or attack, blind to reason. Once their blood lust is satisfied the zombies retreat to the safety of the herd. A place with no questions and unchallenged beliefs they wallow in their ignorance.
Japan has been bought and paid for just like the UK. Sadly here in the UK, the complete and utter incompetence of the government and it’s health agencies has lead to a very miserable future for millions.
Are there excess deaths reported in Japan? Are they only targeting the over 65 group? How are their heart attack and cancer rates compared to prior years?
There’s a semi-official website that calculates excess deaths in total and by cause. In short, cardio deaths were up in 2022, but cancer deaths weren’t. Dunno if cancer rates are rising though.
“Sustainable vaccination: it ends when you do” - might be the solution to all those elderly useless eaters grinding down the Japanese economy... Sarcasm aside, Japan (along with Italy and Germany to name a few others) has been “burdened” by having too many old folks who require a large chunk of social and medical care whilst the pension pot is ever shrinking. I remember seeing some of those creepy robotics trialled in Japanese care homes some years back, to make up for the shortfall in delivering elderly care by actual human beings. But nice, benign iatrogenesis might go a long way to solving this “problem”.
For my peace of mind, I’d love to give them a piece of my mind.
Excellent reading. I’d forgotten about Japanese television as I haven’t looked at it since March 2020. However, the role of television ‘news’ in all of this is often neglected.
On one hand I think this attitude is extremely dangerous, on the other I feel people need media representatives that they can at least trust not to present bold-faced lies to them.
That OWID chart is pretty brilliant. Sent it to a couple of people for laughs.
If shown the OWID chart, the average Japanese would be utterly confused as to why people in peer countries mostly stopped boosting over a year ago. TV hasn’t told them what an outlier they are, so nobody knows about it.
Guy Gin, I’m moving to the Yokosuka area next month. I’d love to meet up. I’m a nurse and will be working at the Navy hospital as a contractor. Shoot me an email if you are interested in connecting.
Well, intentional or not (and I assume a lot of people there, along with doctors, truly believe in the vax and boosters), I suppose this is one way to gradually lessen government's financial burden from seniors in the future
In general, how has the contrarian views opposing the mainstream been received from news like:

What COVID?
There is no evidence that SARS-CoV-2 exists in the physical world, beyond being a software-generated genetic sequence.
Please educate yourself.

“Cases are rising!” “Everyone is getting the vaccine."
Paradoxical much?
They don't see this connection even as a possibility of cause and effect??
TV never mentions the connection, so most people don’t see it. The fact that large outbreaks coincide with jab campaigns just means people must mask harder.
Use their bullshit against them. For example, if you have any dealings with Dr. Ito, make sure he wears a mask, social distances, and shows proof of his 6th shot.
Yeah, but Dr Ito would gladly do all those things. You could ask him to wear a hazmat suit, and he still wouldn’t get the joke.

“Does Japan provide by age breakdown of population deaths?”
Here’s a Japanese article looking at excess deaths by age group. The first figure is self-explanatory. https://agora-web.jp/archives/230614024533.html

Nice white coat for Dr Ito.
Haha what the ... ?! This is insane
Yep. But the Japanese attitude is “If something were wrong, TV would definitely tell us.”
Right, because why wouldn't they?
On one hand I think this attitude is extremely dangerous, on the other I feel people need media representatives that they can at least trust not to present bold-faced lies to them.

(No offense, Japanese people!)

Thanks for keeping us updated. It's amazing how easily people are manipulated.

Has any of it aired on TV at all? Or is it just online?
